Police say the 29-year-old was assaulted Friday night at the Hawthorn Farm platform.
Police say the victim got into a fight with two teens on a MAX train after they reportedly stole one of his shoes.
The man got his shoe back and then ran from the train after it stopped at the station.
The teens reportedly followed him and beat him with their fists, rocks and chunks of concrete.
The victim has a broken leg, and cuts and scrapes to his arms, legs and head.
The suspects are described as teen males, 16 or 17 years old.
Hillsboro police urge anyone with additional information to contact them.
