Missing Oregon hiker found in good condition
- BEND, Ore. - A 45-year-old hiker from Lake Oswego spent the night under a tree while rescuers searched for her on South Sister in Deschutes County.

The sheriff's office says Roxie Ann Hecker had gotten separated from her hiking party and didn't complete the climb that was planned Friday.

Before dark, the sheriff's office sent three Search and Rescue teams into the field to search through the night.

This morning the Civil Air Patrol sent three planes and a communications team, while the National Guard sent a Blackhawk Helicopter.

At about 8 a.m., Hecker was discovered by a motorist near the Elk Lake trail head and taken to the Devils lake trailhead to be reunited with her friends. She was reported in good condition.
