Amber Alert canceled; baby and mother found

Children's Hospital confirms that Riley Rogers is resting comfortably in satisfactory condition after being admitted around 3 a.m.
The boy had been scheduled for surgery at Harborview to treat what relatives described as a kidney ailment. Police say his mother, Tina Carlsen, hid him in a diaper bag and took him from Harborview Thursday morning.
A statewide amber alert was canceled after detectives recovered the boy when they pulled over a vehicle around 12:20 Saturday morning in Yelm, southeast of Olympia.
The boy's mother has been ordered held on $500,000 bail.
No word on whether his surgery has been rescheduled. Children's Hospital referred all other inquiries to state Child Protective Services.
