Driver who killed deputy turns self in, faces charges
- ALBANY, Ore. - A criminally negligent homicide charge has been filed against a van driver accused of striking a motorcycle ridden by an off-duty Marion County corrections deputy.

Cesar Olson, 28, of Eugene turned himself in Wednesday at the Linn County Jail following a grand jury indictment.

Eric Cunningham, 34, of Salem was ejected from his motorcycle when the van driven by Olson struck him from behind during a traffic tie-up on Interstate 5 south of Albany in June, Oregon State Police said.

Cunningham, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene.
