PORTLAND, ORE. - The sights and sounds of Portland's Saturday Market will soon be changing.

The popular weekend spot for shoppers has been under the west end of the Burnside Bridge for the past 28 years, but now that area may be redeveloped.

Saturday, an open house was held to get public input on where Saturday Market should relocate. Executive Director Paul Verhoeven says "we would like a spot that is both indoor and outdoor that has some cover like we currently have now."

The market board and the Portland Development Commission are working to find a potential relocation site. Right now, there are seven possible sites.
