PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - A Clatskanie woman was killed Friday evening when her car struck on oncoming Sport Utility Vehicle on Highway 30 west of Rainier.

According to Oregon State Police, 27-year-old Anna Urban was driving a Pontiac Sunfire west on on the highway when, for an unknown reason, she crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a Mitsubishi Montero SUV at about 6 p.m.

Urban, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

State police said 33-year-old James Aydelotte of Eagle, Idaho, was the driver of the SUV and was wearing a seat belt. He received non-life threatening injuries and was taken to St. Johns Medical Center in Kelso, Wash.

The highway was closed for more than three hours, and traffic was detoured, following the wreck.
