MONTESANO, Wash. (AP) - The husband of an Oregon woman found dead in southwest Washington after she got stranded on a logging road has filed a lawsuit seeking at least $3 million in damages.

The lawsuit by Delbert Johnson claims the Grays Harbor Sheriff's Office, the county's 911 center and others were negligent in the search for 69-year-old Beverly Johnson, who had a history of seizures that caused her to become disoriented.

She went missing on Jan. 27, 2007, when she failed to return from a trip to the Beaverton, Ore., library. She was found dead from hypothermia 11 days later near Wynooche Lake.

Among other things, the lawsuit claims dispatchers in Washington never broadcast an "attempt to locate" notice to officers after the missing woman's car was seen by another motorist.
