PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - The family of a teenager killed last month by police is asking for a public inquest into the death.
Lukus Glenn, 18, was killed by Washington County sheriff's deputies last month near Tigard after his mother called 911 to say he was out of control.
Tests showed the teen's blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit for drivers when he was killed.
Deputies shot him after reports he was breaking windows on vehicles and was armed with a pocket knife, threatening others and himself.
His family said that because of what they called misleading comments from law enforcement, they have lost confidence in Washington County's ability to perform a full and fair investigation.
