ALBANY, Ore. (AP) - A hunter has found skeletal human remains near a snow park in eastern Linn County, and investigators are
treating the case as a homicide, the Linn County sheriff's office said Wednesday.
Investigators believe the body was in a shallow grave near the Big Springs Snow Park for less than a year. It has not been
identified, Sheriff Tim Mueller said in a press release.
The hunter found the body Monday in a timbered area, he said. The snow park is on Route 22.
