One of two suspects arrested in violent home invasion robbery
By KATU.com StaffHAPPY VALLEY, Ore. - A 22-year-old Portland man was arrested Thursday in connection with a robbery where two people forced their way into a woman's home and one of them held a knife to her throat while the other robbed her.
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office urges anyone with information to call their tip line at (503) 723-4949 or submit a tip online. You can also text a tip via your cell phone. Just send your text message to CRIMES (274637) with the keyword CCSO as the first word in the message body. Do not send emergency messages via text - call 911 instead. |

Julie Ackerman, 38, said she responded to a knock at the door and found two men asking if they could come inside to use the phone to call for help. They said their car had broke down.
