Rowdy Roddy Piper diagnosed with cancer
PORTLAND, Ore. - Rowdy Roddy Piper, a former Portland wrestler whose career led him to the WWE, has been diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer, according to a statement on his official Web site.
"It seems like I have been fighting someone, something, someplace, in some manner, my whole life. But this fight is one I am gonna win!" the statement reads.
Piper, who has been wrestling since he was a teenager, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last year. He has also been in a number of films.
The wrestler is married and has four children.
