Hearing delayed for suspect in Condon murder
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - An extradition hearing for a man accused of killing an Oregon girl has been delayed.
Dale Wayne Hill had been scheduled to appear in a Nevada court Monday regarding his transfer to face charges in the death of 14-year-old Stephanie Condon. The hearing has now been pushed to July.
Condon vanished while baby-sitting in October 1998. The remains of the girl from the small town of Riddle were discovered in March off a logging road in the Glide area.
The 39-year-old Hill, a longtime suspect, has denied involvement.
