CLATSOP COUNTY - A man's body was discovered on Clatsop Beach on Wednesday, about five miles north of Seaside.

According to the Oregon State Police, the body is that of an unidentified black male who was between 40 and 50 years old. 

The man had a life jacket on and a kayak was found north of where the body was discovered, leading police to believe he may have been the victim of an accidental drowning.
