PUYALLUP, Wash. (AP) - Some folks in Puyallup are miffed that bikini-clad women are selling fireworks at a stand in the city east of Tacoma.

Stand owner Rikk Martin says he took a cue from the many espresso shops in the area that feature scantily clad women when he opened his "Nearly Naked Fireworks" stand on Sunday. Employee Tiffany Shull says it's much more pleasant to be wearing a swim suit on a hot summer day.

But at least 17 people have complained to the city about the stand, which is on one of Puyallup's major thoroughfares. City Manager Gary McLean says that while officials aren't wild about the stand, there's nothing illegal about wearing a bikini.
