OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) - A Clackamas County jury has gotten the case of faith-healing believers accused of manslaughter in the death of their toddler.

A jury of eight men and four women began deliberations Wednesday afternoon after 11 days of testimony and two days of closing arguments.

Carl Brent Worthington and Raylene Worthington are charged with manslaughter and criminal mistreatment in the 2008 death of 15-month-old Ava Worthington.

Judge Steven Maurer said the jury would resume deliberations Thursday.

The jury is expected to meet during business hours and will not be sequestered at night.
