Two drivers killed in a head-on collision
PORTLAND, Ore. – Two people were killed in a head-on car crash in Washington County Thursday evening on Northwest Germantown Road.
Witnesses said just before 5 p.m. 47-year-old Belinda Lopez was driving fast in her Volkswagen Beetle, heading west.
Lopez reportedly drove over the white fog line and overcorrected, crossing the double yellow line into oncoming traffic.
Her car collided head-on with a minivan, driven by Thai Hoang-Williams, 34, from Vancouver, Wash.
Several witnesses pulled Hoang-Williams from the minivan but were unable to resuscitate him.
Lopez also died in the collision.
