PORTLAND, Ore. - A bicyclist is in critical condition after a collision in northeast Portland early Thursday morning.

Police say the 24-year-old female cyclist hit a vehicle driven by a 44-year-old man when she failed to stop at the corner of Northeast 15th Avenue and Northeast Skidmore Street.

The accident took place just after midnight Thursday. Investigators say alcohol may be a factor in the collision.

The cyclist was taken to a Portland hospital and is listed in critical condition.
