High-speed chase ends at meth house
ST. HELENS, Ore. - Columbia County deputies said a high-speed police chase led to multiple arrests at a house they have responded to 50 times in the past nine years.
Deputies said neighbors helped point an officer in the direction where William Temple was headed - after he fled from the officer in a Ford Mustang. The chase ended up at a house on Hods Lane in St. Helens, which is about 30 miles north of Portland up Highway 30.
Police found Temple's car there and eventually arrested two brothers, Harley and Rodney Vandolah. Police said both are convicted felons who had firearms and meth-making materials. Police also took into custody a woman on court detainer.
Temple is charged with meth possession and eluding police.
