Police: Portland couple busted fleeing hit and run

VANCOUVER, Wash. - A Portland man is arrested for drunk driving and his wife busted for drugs after they allegedly left the scene of a hit and run - with their 2 year old in their truck.

They were pulled over on Interstate 205 near Mill Plain Boulevard in Vancouver.   

Investigators said they found five bundles of heroin and 13 syringes in the pickup.

Aphixay Vilalay faces several charges including hit and run and child endangerment. Terra Vilalay will face drug charges and child endangerment as well.

The toddler is in state custody.
