DAMASCUS, Ore. - A crash involving a sheriff's vehicle and a log truck shut down Highway 224 in the Damascus area Friday afternoon.

The crash, which spun the deputy's truck into the path of a log truck, happened near Southeast 232nd Drive.

Two deputies inside the patrol car were transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. No one else was hurt.
