Missing man located in woods confused but not hurt

A missing 86 year old McMinnville man was located walking in the woods along the Marion/Clackamas County line near the Scott’s Mills area this morning. First reports were that Jack McNally was suffering from exhaustion and dehydration so he was life flighted to a Portland area hospital.
A Davis Creek Rock employee found Mr. McNally. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies along with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue responded to the scene. Mr. McNally was disoriented and confused when located.
Yesterday Mr. McNally left his residence to visit his wife at a Newberg Hospital. When Mr. McNally did not arrive at the hospital his family notified the McMinnville Police of the incident. His family’s was concerned that he may have gotten confused and lost his way.
McMinnville Police had been working with the family, local media, and other law enforcement agencies in an effort to locate Mr. McNally.
As of this report Mr. McNally’s vehicle had not been located.
