GRESHAM, Ore. (AP) - Later this year in Multnomah County, Tremayne Durham of Brooklyn, New York, is scheduled to go on trial for murder.

Police said he ordered a custom ice cream truck from an Oregon man and paid nearly $18,000 in cash.

But when progress on his order was too slow, he took a train from the East Coast to Oregon.

Investigators said he went looking for the owner of the company but found an employee instead and shot him in the head.

Police said they still don't know why Durham came so far when New York has plenty of ice cream trucks.

The shooting was in June of last year.

Last week, a Multnomah County judge ruled that jurors in the upcoming trial will be allowed to see a gun that prosecutors say was used to kill Adam Calbreath of Gresham.
