SALEM, Ore. - They're nothing more than Christmas crooks - two people who heisted holiday displays from a family's front yard.

The home in south Salem, near Sprague High School, was targeted around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday and it was all caught on tape.

This isn't the first time somebody has done this to the family's Christmas decorations. In 2007, someone stuck a knife through their Frosty the Snowman inflatable. They were able to fix it but this time they installed security cameras.

The video shows two figures tie a rope or twine to five displays outside the home. With the other end attached to a car or truck, the suspects speed off, dragging the decorations along with them.

Shawn Findley and his wife, Bevin, put up the decorations every year, not for themselves but for children and neighbors.

Salem police are hoping someone recognizes the perpetrators in the video. The family also posted the video on a MySpace page, on Facebook and a nationally syndicated television program contacted them about showing it as well.
