Second suspect arrested in Forest Grove double-murder-suicide thefts

FOREST GROVE, Ore. - Forest Grove police officers on Wednesday arrested a second suspect they say stole from the family home ravaged by a Nov. 27 double-murder-suicide in Forest Grove.

Police have arrested 32-year-old Neil Duyck of Hillsboro, charging him with burglary in the first degree and theft in the first degree. Officers of the Hillsboro Police department located Duyck in Hillsboro Wednesday afternoon, and turned him over to an officer from the Forest Grove Police Department - who lodged him in at the Washington County Jail.

Officers said they identified Duyck as a suspect "several days ago" and have been searching for him since then. They believe he is one of two burglars who took advantage of a double-murder-suicide at a Forest Grove home, robbing it while the home was empty.

The occupant, 52-year-old wife Cindy England, died at the home on Nov. 27 after police said she was shot by her estranged husband.

Her son, 28-year-old Kevin Coleman, also was shot and died later that day at OHSU Hospital.

Cindy's husband, 56-year-old Steven England, shot and killed himself at the scene.
