Teen dies in fall from downtown building

PORTLAND, Ore. - Police say a teenager somehow fell from an 11-story parking structure in downtown Portland and was killed on impact.

The incident happened late Monday afternoon at Southwest Sixth and Washington as shoppers strolled through downtown in search of after-Christmas deals.

Investigators are trying to figure out whether the boy accidentally fell or committed suicide. It appears he fell from near the top of the parking structure.

The teenager has not been identified.
