Temperatures are beginning to rise in the Willamette Valley.
It is raining in Salem and the temperature has risen in Portland to 33 degrees. KATU Meteorologist Dave Salesky says snow will transition to rain by 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The first photo comes to us a while ago from Wilsonville, proof that it was snowing outside an office complex there at 9:30 a.m. this morning.
The second is shot from a back porch in McMinnville. The third is from our photojournalist in Salem, who is on another story but stopped to shoot a photo of the snow for KATU.com visitors.
