Portland renamed greenest city in America
PORTLAND, Ore. – With its streetcars, light rail and bicyclists, Portland is once again named the greenest city in the country.
The parent company of the Portland Business Journal, American Cities Business Journals, looked at 43 metro areas to make its ranking. It ranked the Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton area No. 1.
The index looked at things like traffic congestion, transit use and water quality.
San Francisco came in second, with Honolulu coming in third.
