According to multiple sources, investigators are questioning those who were closest to Terri Horman, especially after the restraining order was issued near the end of June.
One woman, who is moving out of a home in Tigard, said she underwent a polygraph test and had investigators come to her home with a search warrant within the last week.
She and another friend of Terri Horman said they’re cooperating fully with detectives since they have nothing to hide.
Both said they feel they’ve been dragged into the investigation by simply being supportive of Terri and doing things like visiting her at her home.
But both said they are stepping away from the situation as much as they can because it’s simply not something they want to be connected with anymore.
One woman said she underwent a five-hour polygraph examination about Kyron’s disappearance Thursday. She said investigators told her they already have probable cause to arrest Terri Horman on the alleged murder-for-hire plot and for Kyron’s disappearance. But they didn’t say why an arrest hasn’t happened yet.
She described in detail how investigators first questioned her for three hours and asked her about everything she knows about the case, Terri Horman and the day Kyron vanished.
Then investigators ran her through what would be covered in the test, and in the fifth hour, she was physically hooked up to the machine.
She said she passed her polygraph.
As for DeDe Spicher, according to sources, her condominium in Tualatin was searched last week and investigators took her computer and phone.
Then on Thursday night, Kyron’s biological parents released a statement that said law enforcement told them that Spicher is not cooperating with them.
“We have been informed that they have identified a person that has been in close communication with Terri Moulton Horman since Kyron went missing and her name is DeDe Spicher,” they wrote. “She has not only been in close communication with Terri but has been providing Terri with support and advice that is not in the best interests of our son. Additional information provided shows that she is refusing to cooperate with law enforcement, she is also going as far as to suggest to others that may have information regarding Kyron’s disappearance, not to cooperate as well.”
They went on to implore Spicher to cooperate with police.
She is a board member with her condo association at the Orchard Hills Condominium.
Spicher has often been seen chauffeuring Terri Horman to and from the family’s rural Northwest Portland home when Terri still lived there.
Healthy living is what brought Terri Horman and Dede Spicher together. The two met at the Edge Gym in Beaverton, KATU News learned. Spicher also apprenticed with the local author of the book "Grocery Gardening."
As for work, Spicher has a business connected to her name called DLS Enterprises. The address in Beaverton is a P.O. box stop.
Spicher refused to answer questions from reporters Friday as she raced out of her house and into a waiting car driven by her father. Her father, who identified himself as a sheriff’s deputy with the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office, also declined to comment on the accusations from Kyron’s family.
Police have not named a suspect or persons of interest in the Kyron Horman investigation. They have not made any arrests in the case either.
