PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Officers from the Portland police bomb squad were investigating a small blast scene Sunday outside Sitton Elementary School when a woman told them what happened.
She said her 16-year-old son blew up his science experiment with fireworks. It left a small divot in the grass.
Officers talked to the teen and determined there was no intent to damage property and no danger, so he was not charged.

When I was a kid I would have doused it with gasoline.
When I was a kid we did stuff like this all the time. How times have changed.
Nothing to look at, move along, move along.
I bet the poor kid pissed himself when the bomb squad showed up. Ha!
And he wasn't tasered or shot... lucky kid.
Kid still need's to lean to replace his divots. ;)

No need for charges though. Just a few minutes with a shovel moving some sod from the edge of the yard.
