Sources: Meiser being investigated in another murder

PORTLAND, Ore. – A man charged with stabbing a Lake Oswego man to death is being investigated in a Kelso, Wash. murder, KATU News has learned.
Sources with knowledge of the investigation told KATU News that Erik John Meiser is being investigated in the murder of Nick Fickett.
Fickett, 29, was stabbed to death at a campsite along the Cowlitz River in July. Investigators at the time called Fickett’s death suspicious.
Meiser has not been charged with Fickett’s murder.
Meiser is in jail, accused of burglarizing the Lake Oswego home of 57-year-old Fredrick "Fritz" Hayes and then stabbing him to death in front of his wife.
He was arrested at a Corvallis, Ore. motel by a team of U.S. Marshals after a national manhunt.
Authorities said there was no indication Meiser and Hayes knew each other before the attack.
Reminds me of the story of the guy who killed his wife with a shotgun at close range, cut up the body and buried it, then tried to make it look like a suicide. But an alert cop suspected foul play. It just goes to show you that under the Oregon justice system, you can run AND you can hide.
Another example of why people get a ccw license and carry for protection, from nuts like him!
I hope the police are looking into his possible involvement in the brutal murder of the young man on the bike trail in Ashland last year. He sure fits the profile.Â

Really? A man was stabbed to death and investigators called it suspicious? Imagine that!
Just like the Holt freak, we may never know what horrible crimes they've yet to be caught for. As for this quote...''Fickett, 29, was stabbed to death at a campsite along the Cowlitz River in July. Investigators at the time called Fickettâs death suspicious.'' Ya think?
Just put a bullet in his head and be done with the issue. I'm sure there is space in many nearby incinerators.
@Jamie Can't kill him until we find out everything he's done.
@Playanekes  @Jamie It's not like he'd ever get executed in Oregon, anyway. Just FYI, people are tried and convicted for what they've already done. What else they might have done would probably not likely be considered by a liberal Oregon judge as it might make them appear 'guilty'. I like the bullet idea.
