Video shows officers rushing injured officer to ambulance, gunfire
Neighbors Melanie and Tim Gleason were recording as police officers rushed Ofc. Robert Libke to an ambulance. He was shot while responding to a house fire and later died from his injuries.

OREGON CITY, Ore. – A neighbor near the scene of a fatal police officer shooting captured parts of the incident on video.

Melanie and Tim Gleason lived down the street from Lawrence Cambra, the man who police said killed Oregon City reserve police officer Robert Libke.

Libke was responding to a call of a fire at Cambra’s house on Sunday when investigators said Cambra shot the volunteer reserve officer.

The Gleasons recorded part of the action and shared the video with KATU News. In the clip, you can hear gunshots, presumably from the SWAT officers who fired at Cambra. He was killed by the SWAT officers.

Shortly after those shots, officers yelled for a waiting ambulance to pull up and a number of other officers loaded an injured Libke into the back.

Libke was transferred to a LifeFlight helicopter and flown to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland. He later died from his injuries.
