NY judge rejects 9/11 suit against United Airlines
NEW YORK (AP) — A New York City judge has rejected claims in a lawsuit that United Airlines can be held responsible for the collapse of a third World Trade Center building after the twin towers fell in the Sept. 11 attacks.
Federal Judge Alvin Hellerstein said Wednesday that the airline was not responsible for the collapse of 7 World Trade Center.
Terrorists flew two commercial jets into the trade center towers on 9/11. Some crash debris pierced the facade of 7 World Trade Center, which collapsed later that day.
The corporate entity that owns 7 World Trade Center sued various aviation defendants, including United.
The judge said United could not have foreseen the chain of events that led to the building's collapse.

Only a couple floors where on fire for reasons that had nothing to do with 9/11. I watched as the fire chief ordered the building "pulled" because it somehow was a threat and so they magically made it fall into its own foot print just like the other two buildings fell.
What is wrong with people....this lawsuits are terrible.
Braveo, Judge!
Kudos to the judge for throwing this out.
Just another stupid law suit.

Why didn't they sue the company that sold the fuel to United since that caught on fire and was really responsible for taking down the towers.
@RalphCramden They did. Also the company that built the plane (Boeing). If they thought the could have gotten something from the estates of the passengers, they'd have sued them as well.
