Wal-Mart testing same-day delivery for holidays

NEW YORK (AP) - Wal-Mart is testing a same-day delivery service in select markets for customers who buy popular items online during the holiday shopping season.
The tests, which started this month, are taking place in northern Virginia, Philadelphia, Minneapolis and San Francisco and San Jose, Calif. About 5,000 items will be available for the same-day service.
The program follows Wal-Mart's launch in April 2010 of same-day grocery delivery in San Jose. That was also tested in San Francisco over the past year.
Wal-Mart Stores Inc., based in Bentonville, Ark., operates more than 4,000 stores in the U.S.

Walmart should be exposed for what it is: Which is an UnAmerican store. Sure they pride by saying "We employ 1,000's of Americans." Ha! Try watching "The High Cost of Low Price," and you'll probably never shop there again in your life. These poor people in India and China who are so poor they brush their teeth with dirt and their fingers. THey make .35 an hour making crap products sold at WalMart. They work sun-up to sun-down.... WalMart is pure scum!
That's all well and good but the fact that they treat their employees like their garbage who should feel honored to work for such a miserable excuse for a "family" company means I will still never spend a dime there.
