Car auction brings crowds to see classics during Graffiti Week
ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Those people interested in buying some of the classic cars they saw during Graffiti Week had a chance to do just that Saturday morning at the fairgrounds during the Classic Collector's Auction.
The Peterson Auction Group put about 70 classic cruisers up for auction.
Those on the auction block varied in their makes and models, ranging in everything from Pontiac Le Mans to Lincoln Continentals and Chevrolet Caprice classics.
There was one Ford "Hi-Boy" that dated back to 1932.
A large crowd packed into chairs as the vehicles pulled in for sale, and auctioneers ramped up the crowd as the models were displayed.
Many audience members said they enjoy the annual auction the most during Graffiti Week because they can see all different types of cars and try to predict how much each one is worth.
