Small town of Rainier hit by teacher sex abuse case
RAINIER, Ore. - A former teacher's aide is accused of having sex with a 15 year old boy from Rainier High School.
Christine Marie Johanson, 35, is charged with rape, sodomy, sexual abuse and giving alcohol to a minor.
The alleged victim is a freshman.
A court has ordered Johanson to stay away from any minors except her own children.
Johanson was arraigned this week, and court documents show 26 charges, including 10 counts of rape, two counts of sodomy, 12 counts of sexual abuse and two counts of giving alcohol to a minor.
All the charges involve a 15-year-old male freshman.
The incidents allegedly happened between March and August of this year.
Johanson has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and the District Attorney's office is still investigating the charges.
