WASHINGTON, D.C. - It's been a busy Labor Day for President Barack Obama.

With a warm up for his national health care address Wednesday night, and a preview of Tuesday's speech to classrooms across America - one some call "a political lesson plan."

When it comes to health care, the president said the time for debate is over and the time for action is now. The video link above has more from ABC's TJ Winick.

In that video, the President mentioned his speech Tuesday at 9 a.m. Pacific Standard Time and noon Eastern Standard Time to classrooms across the country. It has become controversial, some saying it is more about politics than about education.

So the White House released an advance copy of the speech Monday. The theme is personal responsibility.

He says, "...pay attention to those teachers; listen to your parents, grandparents and other adults; and put in the hard work it takes to succeed."

And he says "what you make of your education will decide nothing less than the future of this country. What you're learning in school today will determine whether we as a nation can meet our greatest challenges in the future."
