12 unreleased Jimi Hendrix songs to debut March 5

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A new Jimi Hendrix album is coming March 5.
The musician's website says "People, Hell and Angels" contains 12 previously unreleased tracks recorded in 1968 and '69.
Rolling Stone revealed the album cover on its website Wednesday.
Hendrix recorded the songs apart from the Jimi Hendrix Experience as he considered new, experimental directions for his follow-up to "Electric Ladyland." He plays keyboards, percussion and a second guitar on the album.

More noise to listen to. Â The only people who liked his stuff were worthless potheads and other druggers who didn't care about talent, only about noise. Â Â
@boomer .....sorry. I liked it. Didnt smoke. Didnt do drugs. Wasn't worthless. And enjoyed all kinds of music. Take my apology back. I feel sorry that you lack an appreciation for his music.
I bet he's very happy that this is finally being released. I grew up on Hendrix and I feel he changed the face of rock forever. Such a gifted person with is life cut short like so many other greats. I'm really looking forward to this and I know I'm going to cry tears of joy when I hear it. Thank you to whoever that decided to share this little gem.
March 5th- the day I break out my stash
For those that are old enough to remember.. He changed rock & roll forever and had a rather significant impact on US society in his very, very short life. Â When I think of Jimi, I can't ever get over the fact that his handlers ran off with most of the money HE earned -- bastards -- and he skirted real poverty in the last year or two of his life (in addition to growing up dirt poor in Seattle).
Jimi, thanks for Little Wing, Spanish Castle Magic, The Wind Cries Mary, Hey Joe, Purple Haze, Are You Experienced and so many others -- we miss you quite a lot and will never be forgotten.
Are you experienced?
SWEET!
Awesome!
