Fox News, Palin cutting ties

NEW YORK (AP) — Sarah Palin is out as a Fox News Channel contributor.
The network said Friday that it is parting ways with the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate.
Bill Shine, executive vice president at Fox News, said the network has enjoyed its association with Palin and wishes her the best. There was no immediate comment from the former Alaska governor.
A person familiar with discussions between Fox and Palin described the parting as amicable, saying that Fox and Palin had discussed renewing her contract but she decided to do other things. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak on the record.
Palin debuted as a Fox contributor in January 2010.

OMG! They actually did something RIGHT???
Â
I wonder if they gave her a one-way bus ticket back to Hooterville or wherever it was she's from.
I could be wrong but, I believe she's going to run for President. She's "Ronald Reagan" in a dress. .
 @Cliff Garrison She's Sarah Palin in a dress. Comparing her to Ronald Reagan is like comparing Porky Pig with lipstick to a Politician.
@Cliff Garrison Why would she run for President? She's the reason McCain lost.
And here all along I thought they deserved each other ...
She doesn't play well with others.  ME....ME....ME
 @Luckylucy Yeah, not even her "family".
 @Luckylucy Sure...because Obama isn't obsessed with himself and almost never mentions himself in any of his speeches. (deep sarcasm in case you were blinded by smogImeansmug).
Watch them replace her with Carly Fiorina as a financial expert.
Up yours Reflect. Like you've never screwed up in your life. If you're without sin, then go ahead and sling the rocks and that goes for everyone else out there who are armchair politicians.
 @Bdou Having a bad day, dearie?
Someone pee in your cornflakes this morning?
Â
Lighten up, Francis.
I love Palin. Just because she causes the left to flip out and constantly putting her down which keeps the right energized and consolidated.
Â
She is exactly what Bill Clinton said about the left looking down the nose at the right.

Â
In essence the left is making their opposition stronger by railing against her. It's perfect.
 @RalphCramden Oh, please. She says stupid things to get attention. She doesn't have the foggiest idea of the basic fundamentals of government. If she had decent ideas then why didn't the Republicans themselves nominate her to run against Obama? Her own party rejected her.
 @drosenÂ
Bill Clinton was right. And here is the proof.
 @drosen  @RalphCramden Yet Mensa Joe continues to impress us.
"How can we miss her if she won't go away"?Â
 @old_dollor I'm female and I actually think she's an attractive woman -- easy on the eyes.  But OMG she's NOT easy on the ears.  Maybe because I can't stand her, but every single time she opens her mouth I want to stick a fork in her larynx so I won't have to hear her any more.  Maybe she can nail a Tina Fey impression and get a gig at some 2-bit comedy club in Des Moines or Gresham or La Pine....then no one would ever hear from her again.Â
She will be missed.
 @sortbait Not on a bet.
I do wish her luck. She is a good person which I believe was her downfall in politics. It's actually very sad that other politicians do not share her moral and value system.
 @poorsob LMAO! That's got to be the funniest post I've ever read on here!
Here's a tissue, Kushfan
Fox News will still have plenty of religious nut jobs to take her place.
I have a problem with politicians who throw around phrases like, "it's God's plan." That being said,She'll hang on somewhere, for a while of course. But it truly is a sign that her 15 minutes are coming (mercifully) to an end. When she doesn't even have Fox News as a soap box, I figure she's somewhere around 13 minutes, 55 seconds. I predict within about 2 years, she'll be little more than a Trivial Pursuit answer, or a guest on some celebrity cooking show or honey boo boo
 @noneofyourbizzness What? You mean she's not Honey Boo Boo?
Well, knock me over with a feather!
I hear Sarah Palin is teaming up with Tonya Harding to get a federal grant to study knee injuries?
Is FOX News actually trying to establish some credibility?
 @correct BTW how's Air America doing these days? Apparenlty the left is now also going after Al-Queda as their target audience. Just ask Al Gore.
@Mr. Carbon Footprint @correct ---double Like.
 @correct It's the fair-and-balanced network featuring Karl Rove and Geraldo Rivera.
A sad excuse for a news channel cutting ties with a sad excuse for a politician. Nothing more. Hope I never have to see her face or hear her voice again for the rest of my days.
Sarah Palin really milked her 15 minutes of fame. Â
 @EdgarDerby She could have had four years of fame as governor if she didn't quit.
@EdgarDerby .....nice cliche Edgar.
I believe this is part of the Republican plan to change their image. Â And this isn't like they are hiring Keith Olbermann.
 @MFMFIM What would REALLY help is if they would flush then floss once in a while.
 @MFMFIM OOOPS!! I mean BRUSH and floss! ;-)
"Nah, nah,nah na......Nah, nah,nah na......... wayyyyyyy goodbye!"
Â
Republicans....really this is one of the best we have? Â Really? Â What a friggen joke.
 @B Smizzle Well her election time is over which means now they can replace her with Trump, Gringrich, Creepy Pizza Guy, Carly Fiorina, Schwarzenegger...  too bad that short guy from Different Strokes is around. At least Sarah can go back ta shootin'.
 @Playanekes OMG!!!
Could you imagine a ticket with Donald Trump and Sarah Palin?
January 20 2017, Donald Trump and Sarah Palin sworn into office.
January 21, 2017, Washington DC leveled by Hydrogen bomb.
