J.J. Abrams to produce Lance Armstrong biopic

LOS ANGELES (AP) — He's already gotten the Oprah treatment. Now Lance Armstrong is headed for the silver screen.
Paramount Pictures and J.J. Abrams' production company, Bad Robot, are planning a biopic about the disgraced cyclist, a studio spokeswoman said Friday.
They've secured the rights to New York Times reporter Juliet Macur's upcoming book "Cycle of Lies: The Fall of Lance Armstrong," due out in June. Macur covered the seven-time Tour de France winner for over a decade.
No director, writer, star or start date have been set.
Armstrong is in the midst of a two-part interview with Oprah Winfrey in which he admits to using performance-enhancing drugs to reach his historic victories, something he'd defiantly denied for years. The International Olympic Committee stripped him of his 2000 bronze medal this week.

Why?!?
The best thing that could happen if this film is produced is a complete and total boycott. This lying cheat should never make another nickel off of his despicable life as a purported "athlete."
This guy is an evil egomaniac and he deserves to be completely ignored by the entire world for the rest of his life. A book? waste of good paper. A movie? gross. Ignore the loser and help ensure he doesn't earn one more dime.

I agree...except that he's a sociopath and will do anything to remain in the public spotlight. Lie or confess it doesn't matter to him provided he gets attention.  And, time and again, he's proven to be a master manipulator saying titillating stuff or being charming when it suits him. He is gross and it is sad, fascinating, and very telling of our society that they will continue to be WILLINGLY manipulated by this pathetic thing...it really demonstrates a social and cultural weakness.

He is no better than a pedophile or con-man or wall street banker.
And the biopic will be called......I'm a liar, a cheat, a bully and Oprah give me absolution. PATHETIC !!!!!
