Madonna booed after touting Obama in Louisiana Concert
NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Madonna drew boos and triggered a walkout by several concertgoers after she touted President Barack Obama on her "MDNA Tour" in New Orleans.
The Material Girl asked during Saturday night's performance: "Who's registered to vote?" She added: "I don't care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama." Drawing boos in touting Obama over Republican Mitt Romney, Madonna followed: "Seriously, I don't care who you vote for ... Do not take this privilege for granted. Go vote."
Madonna is often outspoken. Some Colorado fans, mindful of a mass shooting there, complained she used a fake gun to shoot a masked gunman in a recent concert act in Denver. A Madonna concert in Paris in July drew ire when a video showed a swastika on a politician's forehead.

First and foremost, let me just say from the get go that neither party is worth a crap. Not once did I mention that I supported anything or everything that Obama stands for. Both parties are as corrupt as the Al Qaeda, the Taliban and the Catholic and Mormon Churches. They all seek their own agendas and the general public is not part of their agendas -- unless they can feed them more and more wealth. Â Now that said once again we are stuck voting for the lesser of two abhorrent evils, who should themselves be blown out to sea, not New Yorkers.

Yeah, Romney will allow the middle class to be swept out to sea, whereas Obama will just sweep the entire nation out to sea... Anybody who actually believes in either of these two candidates has already allowed reason to be swept out to sea. The differences between them on important issues that will actually affect people are literally nothing more than skin deep. The angrier you get when confronted with this fact is a measure of how irrational you've allowed your favored party to brain wash you into being.

These comments are hateful! Just a reflection of the state of society I suppose. Madonna is an icon and everyone knows it. She is a human being and she is entitled to her opinion. You all seem to think you're entitled to yours so what's the difference??!!
Because celebrities do not live in the same world as you and I. Unless of course you are independently wealthy. They should not be allowed to endorse any candidates all that does is confuse the young voters, they tend to listen to whoever is the most popular. Keep in mind, none of the policies enacted by Obama or Romney will affect any celebrities, not now, not ever. So it should not really matter who is voting for whom. The only reason Obama has so many celebrity endorsements is because that is all he has done in the last 4 years, is make himself a celebrity.   He is the first POTUS to ever go on shows like The View and throw lavish party after party with celebrity involvement.  The President should be more interested in the country, not his popularity!!!

You mean people still go see her in concert at large venues (or even at all)? I figured she'd be on the casino tour by now. I didn't like her when she was popular and I sure as hell don't like her now. I think she's foul.
