TV show floats theory serial killer involved in Simpson murder

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — A documentary about an inmate on Florida's death row says the convicted killer might have been involved in the murder of O.J. Simpson's ex-wife and her friend.
The Investigation Discovery show, "My Brother the Serial Killer," will air Wednesday.
The film is a look at Glen Rogers, who was convicted by a Florida jury in 1997 for killing a woman.
Rogers was also convicted of murder in California and is a suspect in homicides in several other states.
Rogers, who is from Hamilton, Ohio, met Nicole Brown Simpson in 1994 when he was living in Southern California, his family says in the documentary.
A criminal profiler in the film says he received paintings by Rogers with clues possibly linking him to the 1994 murders of Simpson's ex-wife and her friend, Ronald Goldman.
Simpson was accused in those killings but the so-called "trial of the century" in Los Angeles ended with his acquittal in 1995.
Simpson never testified at the criminal trial, but memorably demonstrated in court that a glove found near the slaying scene did not fit his hand. He testified at length in a wrongful death trial that led a Los Angeles civil court jury in 1997 to find him liable for damages in the case.
Much of the film is narrated by Rogers' brother, Clay Rogers, who used to rob homes with Glen Rogers as a teen but in 1993, called police on his brother after finding a body at the family's Kentucky cabin.
Clay Rogers said that in 1994, his brother told him about meeting Nicole Brown Simpson.
"They've got money, they're well off and I'm taking her down," Clay Rogers recalls Glen Rogers saying.
Other family members also said Glen Rogers talked about meeting Simpson's ex-wife.
In a statement, Goldman's sister criticized the new documentary.
"I am appalled at the level of irresponsibility demonstrated by the network and the producers of this so-called documentary," Kim Goldman said. "This is the first time we are hearing about this story, and considering that their 'main character,' Glen Rogers, confessed to stabbing my brother and Nicole to death, you would think we would be in the loop."
Simpson is currently serving a prison sentence in Nevada after being convicted in 2008 of leading five men, including two with guns, in a September 2007 confrontation with two sports memorabilia dealers and a middleman at a Las Vegas casino-hotel.

The really, really sad part about this whole debacle is that Mr Rogers, a convicted killer, now has notoriety based soley upon his involvement with Ms Brown-Simpson. Just the theorhetical association between the two will undoubtedly result in police further investigating a decades old murder. Meanwhile, the manpower that is shuffled to the investigation will be unavailable to current crimes.

All because Ms Brown-Simpsons ex could throw a ball.Â

If OJ didn't do it, he still had something to do with it being that the guy says OJ paid him to steal some jewelry and to "kill the b***h" if he had to. That's pretty much murder for hire.  Meaning...OJ can be retried as it would be a new charge. Dumba**
Operative word in the headline "floats"!!
Weird...just...weird... Â I agree with advocatus diaboli's post... "There were so many errors in the original investigation, I doubt we'll ever know the truth."
Â
Â
We know the effing truth. EVERYBODY whose IQ is higher than room temperature knows the effing truth.
To be honest, Goldman's sister probably is just pissed off that she didn't get advanced warning so she could file another lawsuit for more money... (there is a bit of sarcasm here, but likely some truth)

There were so many errors in the original investigation, I doubt we'll ever know the truth.
Are these people credible? Considering their past, and the fact that their brother, the alleged murderer of Simpson/Goldman is on death row with nothing really to lose, it does seem far-reaching. However, there is certainly the potential possibility that this could indeed be true. Sadly though, during the initial investigation, there was so much tampering among the police department, that I doubt any piece of evidence could stand up in court, though I would be curious to know if there were any finger prints that were lifted that may match his.
If the glove don't fit then you must do 10 to 33 years in a Nevada State Prison. I think the Discovery Channel is trying to seel commericials.
Everyone knows that OJ did it.
How appalling for the victim's families. I agree with Kim Goldman's statement, if there was any credibility to this the family should've been notified. These shows are too often inconsiderate to the family of the victims.
Yeah. I totally buy this. He is known to have shot and killed three people.Â
In the case of Simpson and Goldman though, he hacked them up brutally with a garden hoe.
Makes total sense.
I wonder how much was paid to this family for this story
"Yeah. I totally buy this." As I have told others, the word "gullible" isn't in the dictionary.
@Mechanic *whoosh*...I'm pretty sure sarcasm is in the dictionary...
