Did girlfriend of hit-and-run suspect use victims's funds for bail?

Investigators think Mallory Ewart used money raised for Gordon Patterson’s family to bail the suspected hit-and-run driver, Eugene Cellestine, out of jail. Ewart is reportedly Cellestine’s girlfriend. Patterson, a teacher at Hudson's Bay, died at the scene of the collision.

Tenants escape Raleigh Hills apartment fire

No one was hurt in the fire that started just before 4 a.m. on an end unit of the third story. The damage was severe to one unit, but there may be some additional damage to the adjacent unit's balcony. There are 18 units in the building that was on fire.

Knox trial winding down in Italy

Prosecutors are expected to outline evidence they have presented in the trial against the former University of Washington student Amanda Knox and her Italian ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito. Knox and Sollecito could face life in prison if convicted of murder.
