PORTLAND, Ore. - A memorial bicycle ride will be held Friday for a 19-year-old woman who was killed while riding her bike in downtown Portland.

The accident happened Thursday at West Burnside and 14th Avenue.

Witnesses say a cement truck ran over the woman, identified as Tracey Sparling of Salem, who was in a bike lane to the right of the truck.

The driver of the truck told police he did not see the cyclist and has not been cited.

Fellow cyclists will be riding up East Burnside Street in her honor Friday evening at 6:30 p.m.

According to a
Portland bicycling Web site, the ride will form at the west approach of the Burnside Bridge.

Currently, the bridge is closed to motorized vehicles but is still accessible to bicycles and pedestrians.
