PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - A convenient new parking option will soon be available at Portland International Airport.

It's called Gold Key Valet and is set to start Monday.

Airport officials say Gold Key Valet will enhance customer service by providing a convenient, new parking option. It will also help meet airport parking needs while a new, second parking garage is under construction.

The valet service will allow travelers to drop off their vehicles in front of the airport terminal building and pick up their vehicles at the same location when they return from their trip. Rates for the service were not announced.

Parking improvements are being driven by record air travel.

Last year, PDX served an all-time record of more than 14 million travelers.

The new, second parking garage partially opens in 2009, and fully opens in 2010.
