Macy's Holiday Parade to wind through downtown

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Macy's Holiday Parade will kick off Friday morning in downtown Portland and there is a new route this year.

The parade will start at Lincoln High School and wind along Southwest 14th to Alder, where it will pass by the Macy's store.

The parade will then head south on Second and up Taylor, which takes it back to the school.

The parade will begin at 8:45 a.m. Santa is back this year as the Grand Marshal.
