Man shot at Portland nightclub later dies
PORTLAND, Ore. - A man found shot in the parking lot of a northeast Portland after-hours nightclub early Saturday later died at Legacy Emanuel Hospital, police said.
Police identified the man killed as 22-year-old Edilberto Ville.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the lot of the La Fortuna Mexican Restaurant & Night Club in the 3300 block of Northeast Sandy Boulevard about 2:45 a.m. and found the injured man, who was conscious. His condition later deteriorated while he was receiving medical attention, police said.
An autopsy determined he died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police did not say where he was shot. Detectives are investigating the incident as a homicide but said they had no suspects.
