PORTLAND, Ore. - The FBI is now investigating an incident at Occupy Portland where an officer was hurt from a firework that was thrown in his direction.

Last month, Officer Curtis Brown was hit in the leg and then taken to the hospital to be checked out. He was quickly released.

Cameron Matta, 23, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, harassment and interfering with a police officer. But he could be in some serious hot water if the FBI decides to purse criminal charges in the case.

Beth Anne Steele with the FBI's Portland office said they are working with the Portland Police Bureau "to determine whether or not an explosive device was used on Nov. 13 that left a Portland police officer injured."
