FBI raids three homes in Portland on Wednesday morning

PORTLAND, Ore. – FBI agents simultaneously raided three homes in Portland on Wednesday morning. A bureau spokeswoman said the raids were all connected to an ongoing investigation about violent crimes.
She did not elaborate about the investigation or the alleged crimes.
All of the raids happened at 6 a.m. at homes in North and Northeast Portland.
Neighbors at two of the homes said they saw agents put people in handcuffs, although an FBI spokeswoman said they did not make any arrests.
The raids happened at 4820 N.E. 31st Ave., 7129 N.E. 8th Ave. and 6846 N. Greenwich Street.
Neighbors at the home on 31st Avenue said the couple who lives in the house appears to be normal, although the previous tenants were anarchists.
At the house on Greenwich, neighbors said the residents were friendly and that the house was once owned by a bank.

I love the normal/anarchist dichotomy. Keep on spinnin'!
This is what happens when you criticize Obama on the internet. . . . Coming soon to your neighborhood
@Scruffy Scirocco Oh, yeah. Blame everything on Obama.
@Jalarti I will wait till November...
Well, if every other thing can be blamed on Bush, why not?
slightly off topic but somebody here said they should dissolve the dept of homeland security and divert the extra revenue to the fbi, cia, and other once functional agancies. i'd have to agree.  janet napolitano's clown house is more concerned with looking at naked images of american citizens and mp3 pirates than catching actual bad guys and protecting american interests.
@Phuzz Homeland Security - proof positive you can always make a big problem worse if you just work hard enough.
Â
Thank you to the Bush Administration for creating this waste of tax dollars.
They raided 3 homes but didn't arrest anyone?
Â
What was this, practice?
Well if it was a successful Raid I bet they didn't tell Sami.. We haven't heard a tweet:)
You gotta love the lack of information!
SO IS THERE ANY REASON THERE ARE SO MANY COPS ON 119TH IN VANCOUVER...I EVEN SAW A ROBOT OUT THERE. AT A HOUSE...THEY EVEN HAD THEIR BIG BUS INVESTIGATION UNITS.
robot usually means explosives er something
I'd be P.O. if they came busting the door down, dragging me out like a criminal and then didn't even both to arrest me.
Â
"Sorry" doesn't cover that kind of incompetence and failure to actually investigate who actually lives there.
 @molotovmouse
Â
Law enforcement will often "hold" everyone in a home (children being the exception but they are usually removed and handed to other family or social services) when they perform a "high risk" warrant for search, arrest or seizure.
Â
And just because you aren't arrested today, does not mean you won't be tomorrow.
Ah...so that's what the explosions were that woke me at 6:20 this morning!Â
