OREGON CITY, Ore. - Authorities announced Wednesday that they have arrested three people in connection with a home invasion robbery and murder in Oregon City last week but were still looking for a fourth suspect.

Investigators said 31-year-old Joseph Ryan Pankonin was fatally shot and a woman was assaulted during the 11 p.m. robbery at a home at 15275 South Maple Lane on April 17.

Detectives said the home may have been targeted by the suspects seeking money and drugs and had been visited by police on several occasions in the past.

On Tuesday evening, Diana Lynn Engle, 46, and 40-year-old Shannon Ray Pierce were arrested while at a southeast Portland restaurant in connection with the crime, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office. Later in the evening, 24-year-old Darold Michael Hagerman was arrested at his home.

All live in or formerly lived in Oregon City.

They were lodged in the Clackamas County jail on charges of murder, first-degree robbery and first-degree kidnapping.

Detectives did not say what they believe tied the trio to the crime.

A fourth suspect, 38-year-old Charles Jenkins Jr. of Portland, is also wanted in connection with the incident.

The sheriff's office described him as black, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 175 pounds with black hair and dreadlocks. A reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest. Authorities said he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jones was asked to call the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Tip Line at (503) 723-4949.
