Burglar wipes out baseball teams' snack shack
PORTLAND, Ore. - A youth baseball league is reeling after a weekend burglary in southeast Portland.

Police say someone broke into the snack shack at Lynch View Elementary School.

The thief stole a hot dog machine, $40, and other items that totaled about $1,000 in value.

The burglars left their bolt cutters and a half-empty beer bottle behind.    

The team depends on the snack shop to raise money for operations and give scholarships to children who couldn't otherwise afford to play.

Lynch View Elementary is located at 1546 Southeast 169th Place in Portland, Ore.,  97233.
